    Description

    Many years ago, around 1978, I walked into an Architectural antique shop on Magazine Street in New Orleans and purchased a decorative painted oak board with six high relief bronze faces attached. The shop owner described the item as being removed from an old theater building schedule for demolition. This sale is for one of the theater bronze face plaque removed from the board. There is some dried green paint spots on the back of the plaque resulting with its removal from the decorative board (pictured).. This high relief unique art piece is in excellent vintage condition and measures approximately 10 ¾” x 4 ½” with a weight of just over 2 ¾ lb. Please review the pictures for condition as described. The display stand pictured is not included in the sale.
