Antique Continental Walnut Hand Carved Gothic Panel 19th c. or Earlier

Description

This beautiful Gothic carved walnut panel is Continental and certainly predates the Industrial Revolution and may in fact date as early as the 16th or 17th c.  It features a carved rosette and two floral interlocking scrolls above four Gothic arches.  I'm thinking it came from an Ecclesiastic source perhaps a church or vestry.  It is 17.5" tall x 10.5" wide.  It has very light old worm damage, a crack in one feathered edge and a nail hole near the center.  The panel was probably waxed long ago but is in its original state.  There is an old early 20th c. label on the back that says:
Gift / Hollis French / 210 So. Street
