Antique Sarreguemines faience box or powder jar, from the company's "Enfants Richard" children's line. It dates to the late 19th Century era (c1880s). Choice, specify which you want in your order. This box is soft paste, with gilded copper banding around the rim and whimsical Kate Greenaway style transfer designs scattered here and there across the surface. The box is in fine to good vintage condition, with the only flaws being two small (1/4" repairs to both the lid and the lid rim, two fine 2" hairlines to one side, each extending upward from the base. 3 1/2" high x 3 1/4" in diameter. It is marked on the base with the Sarreguemines logo.
One with standard round top. Marked with the Germany mark. 3" high x 3 1/2" in diameter. Chip on the underside of lid, no other damage.
It goes well with the washstands.
