    Description

This is an Antique Pima Native American Basket typical of the Southwestern PIMA Tribe (aka: Akimel O'odham and Papago, or Tohono O'odham, a desert people of Arizona, USA).  This beautiful basket is 7.5 inches in diameter and approximately 3.25 inches tall.  It is Woven with Willow and Devil's Claw in a traditional geometric design.  Additionally, there is a little fading but there are no large areas of damage, just occasional smaller spots of brakes in the weave, a little dust, and a nail hole in the center made once for hanging on a wall
(see all pics as they are a large part of the description)
.  This is a rare and collectible example of quality workmanship, creativity, and design. Thanks for looking!
