    Description

This is an Antique Pima Native American Basket Tray typical of the Southwestern PIMA Tribe (aka: Akimel O'odham and Papago, or Tohono O'odham, a desert people of Arizona, USA).  This beautiful tray is 17 inches in diameter and approximately 4 inches tall.  It is tightly Woven with Willow and Devil's Claw in a traditional whirling fret design.  Additionally, there is a little fading but there are no large areas of damage, just occasional smaller spots of brakes in the weave, a little dust, and a nail hole where a hanger would have once been attached shown in the last photo
(see all pics as they are a large part of the description)
.  This is a rare and collectible example of quality workmanship, creativity, and design. Thanks for looking!
