Unusual Hard to find pedestal egg cup with quote from
The House that Jack Built,
the English nursery rhyme.
Excellent condition with bright images.  Gold trim around top and bottom shows wear where paint has rubbed off.
One side has the priest and the quote "This is the priest all shaven and shorn" while the other side has the cat.
Inside of bottom is marked "Germany 162".
Here is the verse from the rhyme depicted on the cup:
