Beautiful ornate Moorish design Victorian architectural fretwork spandrel in excellent condition. This decorative gingerbread millwork was designed to span across an open doorway or window frame, but can also be hung on the wall or in open areas as artwork or a great decorator piece.  Some people like to hang them over a bed or sofa as an accent piece.  This was recently removed from a Victorian 1890's home and is in excellent clean condition. I do not know if it was original to the home or custom made at a later time.  It is very unique and the wood has beautiful grain and is the color of cherry but it may be some other wood. It is a hardwood and is solid, with NO breaks or missing pieces, only a few small dents, scratches, or nicks which are barely noticeable.  Please see all the pictures which are part of this description.  Each side is exactly alike and shown in the pictures.  The piece is well made and put together with wood pegs.  The price is firm on this item and is very reasonable based on other pieces I have seen or sold.
Measures 37 1/2" tall on the ends x 59" long x 1" thick.  The packed dimensions will be a little larger.

If you want to arrange your own shipping or pickup, I can hold this item until you are ready. I do my best to keep the shipping cost as low as possible. The FedEx Ground rate is the most economical and is based on the size and weight. Shipping is high due to the overall size of the item. For shipping I will wrap it in thick cardboard and packing materials to protect it.
If shipped I will need a couple days to prepare it for shipping.
Pick up in the Muncie Indiana area or personal delivery is available within a reasonable distance in the Mid-West for the gas cost. You would need to contact me and arrange this first. It can also be shipped nationwide by FedEx Ground. It will be carefully packed and delivered to your home.  The shipping rate provided by the ebay shipping calculator should be accurate based on the packed measurements and weight.  I have shipped several similar pieces in the past few months with no problems.
