    Description

    This is a vintage Hopi coiled round flat tray basket with a good traditional design, circa 1930 to 1940s, or so. Basket is almost 12" in diameter and is only 1" high. There are 2 coils per inch and about 15 stitches per inch, and it is in near perfect condition with only 1 rim stitch missing and no repair.  There is also very little, if any, fading, which is a common ailment of these baskets.There is a woven loop on the back for hanging, which still seems strong enough to do the job.
