Please email with any questions. Vintage 1930's child's plate, 8 1/4" diameter divided with three shallow wells. Ivory color ceramic feels and looks like restaurantware- heavy and break-resistant. This was a promotional item from a Macon, Georgia furniture store- probably presented to new parents who outfitted the nursery at the store: FOR BABY'S HEALTH AND HAPPINESS. A G RHODES & SON, MACON, GA, COMPLETE HOME FURNISHERS. There is an apple green band painted around the rim and the plate is transfer-decorated with charming images of children with their pets and toys. No chips or cracks, some slight crazing and wear to the glaze. There is some loss to the green band on the edge and some utensil scratches on the transfer images.
