What a wonderful basket! Native North American. I believe this 1870's to 1880's
Bowl / basket is 6.5 inches across top. 2.5 inches high and 2.75 inches across base. Wonderful design of red on a natural background.
From the estate of a Maine woman who traveled west in the summers starting in the 1950s. Purchased from the collectors Daughter.
I am unsure as to exact tribe.
In wonderful condition. No breaks or repairs. Tight weave.
